The pain in the CC record seems real.

The boy thought he would be able to get into all the schools and none of the schools thought he is good enough.  So sad.

Considering his stats alone, he is qualified for all the schools he aplied for, even for a Chinese boy.

I see two possibilities:

1. Some of the material he included was false and all AO's figured that out.

2. From his essays, recommendations and interviews, AOs came to the conclusion that he is arrangent and self-centered, that he is only interested in himself. This is actually vitally important.  They want their students to have a positive impact on the society; they want their students to be the future leaders of the country and the world. It does not matter how good your stats are if they don't see this.
