何解决。是不是non-resident alien不是你自己说了算的。税法设定了几个test。如果是Non-resident alien, bank deposit interest is non-taxable. IRS pub519 says:
Itemized Deductions
Nonresident aliens can claim some of the same
itemized deductions that resident aliens can
claim. However, nonresident aliens can claim
itemized deductions only if they have income
effectively connected with their U.S. trade or
business.
So if you can deduct property tax or not depends on if you have US income or not. Also no standard deduction for NRA.
