u do not need to convince any person here. I am sure ur son gets the right gene. I beleive football or ice hockey is perfect for him. All other chinese children fail to do this just because their parents are not as brave as you are. I already see a future sports star from your posts; you have a good sense regarding sports and are brave enough to point out people's unnecessary worries, especially from chinese parents.  Just go for it.
