the winners are those who lose the least. CS, comparing to many other fields, is still the winner even in downturns, cauz every field losses in downturns.
If we go all the way to Mad Max moment, then farmer (food) is the only game. But how many people are willing to plan and choose farming as their career before that moment hits?
