Human is different from other because human has better brain,

so human could learn more and faster. The smartest people learn from other's failure and experience, from lecture and book (book is a mass way of lecturing). Some other learn only from their own mistakes. They are not the best, but they are better than those who never learn.

I will not force my kids to do my way, specially if they are teen, old enough to think themself. But I will lecture them, to let them know what's my thinking (because I'm more experienced than them). Following my thinking of not is their choice. Leting them know my thinking is my duty as a father.
