I have noticed that when the people who claim to worry about minorities in higher education talk about it they never talk about graduation rates. They only talk about admission and occasionally enrollment. However the statistics I've seen show that minorities are most likely to end up with student loans and no degree. That is the worst of both worlds. Encouraging people who will probably fail out of college to saddle themselves with debt for a failed college experience is sadistic.
