Three students passed way Upenn

Since the winter break.  Thoughts and prayers go to their families and friends.

I am very impressed with the story on the trip to South Pole and I am especially proud of the Wharton kids.

These days, I have more thoughts on the American philosophy of education. While the trip can be called a venture, I am not sure of its function in leadership development.

 I also noticed the term – overnight celebration party.  An ABC just passed way due to cardiac arrest during the winter break, and another ABC student who passed away in 2011 due to heart attack.  They are both Wharton seniors.  Maybe several years earlier, their parents frequented this forum as well. I do not know how much it is related with challenging yourself to become the best.  We do need to respect more of life and nature.   

I would certainly like to hear more comments from other parents.
