no high gpa, high SAT/ACT score,

in most cases for an aisan kid, there is no chance to get into any good Univ. Still do not understand your points here. Trying to convince people here high gpa, high SAT is not necessary? Or stating high gpa/SAT is required but not sufficient? I do not see any aisan kids got into harvard with low gpa or low SAT. Even Jeremy Lin got really good gpa and SAT. Maybe you can find a novel way to let your kid get into harvard with low gpa or low SAT. It just does not sound realistic to me. my 2 cents.
