My son's high school math teacher once told me that if my son could study math while he was using toilet, he would do fabulous. He received Boston Mayor’s award on his Math achievement at his elementary school graduation (only one form his school). At 10th grade, he received AIME invitation as a result of high scores in his AMC12. He hid it from me so that he would not be pushed to the AIME program. I would if I knew he qualified. Even so, he received his Math Excellence Citation at his high school graduation and that was the only hornor he got. He appeared disliking Math even though his teachers and myself think he is good at.
No worries. He is studying for JD at Columbia now.
I happen to know two other kids who went to engineering undergrad. Both of them then went to MIT Sloan for MBA to switch track.
No worries. With or without math, your daughter will be just fine.
