it is critical year for a high school student,especially for 孩子成绩很好，性格内向, if one of the parent can wait, keeping him/her in the same school is the best. I knew many parents may say, to adjust the changes is a good challenge for the kids, but it may not good for the 11th grade in US high school. This is my own opinion, may not right:-)
