你还是应该管一下的，说不定你下次有什么东西在邮箱会丢。有三个选择：

1) 直接了当过去问：What are you doing? You shouldn't open other people's mailbox.  It is agains federal law to take other people's mail (This is true).

2) 叫上邻居一起去管。

3）如果你的区的警察没啥事做，打个电话给警察。
