Also, do you know what is the #1 factor for high SAT?

It is the family income.  The higher income families have the resources tohave house in the best school district.  They could afford all sort of EC.  Their kids have less thing to worry about. 

Like many other have said, it takes alot for a kid from a poor family to get into the top handful of schools where the need based FA are generours.
