My son is the same. He is in 1st grade. He is on top of the class in terms of reading and math, but just messy and careless. The teacher told me if he could be more efficient on time management, he would learn much more in the class than he does now. The teacher used to teach gift class and knows how to teach students more.But without proper time management skills, my son is not able to learn as much as he can.
