Contractors get 1099s from employers. They all need

to pay self-employment tax. The famous case is our treasurer Tim Geitherner. He did not pay self -employment tax for some consulting work his did besides his full- time job. And IRS chased him down. That backfired when last year he was nominated for Treasurer. We all remember that, don't we?
