Since you have gone so far,repair the timing belt. Make sure you get the timing matched. Then use a spark plug pressure guage, to screw in each spark plug hole, hand rotate the engine to see if the pressure changes. If any one of those cylinders does not show pressure change, the valves for that cylinder need work.
