请教pre-school小孩子如何向Kindergarten过渡的问题

儿子快要４岁了，现在上一个很好的 preschool。学校比较重视academics，plus all classes are multi-age groups. 所以现在学会了很多东西。明年５岁上小学. Now my question is: will children from education-based preschools feel bored in a regular K class?

我看了本学区的 curriculum，看来Kindergarten (even 1st grade)主要的目的应该还是拉平所有学生的水平，所以以非常基本的知识为主。There is nothing wrong with that, 但是现在的孩子好像在preschool都已经会这些东西了，wouldn't that be a problem?
