To vivi 123: Your son is totally opposite of my son.

My son just turned 6 years old, his most favorite:
1, Lego: Build lego based on the instruction, exactly one step followed by another step, around 250 pieces at 7-12 age group without any problem;
2, Sports: He has talent on every boy's typical sports, but we don't want him to be athletes. Almost any sports, such as scooter, bike without training wheel, monkey bar etc, only one try, he masters it.
However, my son doesn't like reading, math, writing etc. He will do it if you ask, if you don't ask, he will never do it.
When he was 2-3 years, he likes puzzles and can do these puzzles for age 5-6.

I think they are just 2 type of boys, I am worried his academe in the future :), although he it top 3 at his class right now. I don't know how to improve on his situation....
