It depends on baby's personality. For my older daughter, it's a piece of cake. She actually didn't know how to speak correct English, but she was so eager to communicate with others, she would went right in front of the kid and started to "talk" whole dialogues from Cartoon she watched. My younger daughter "observed" silently for almost 2 and half year. All the sudden, she started to talk, to run, to dance, to giggle...too much.
