提醒明年有娃上大学的家长注意：关于孩子医疗保险的事---

有的大学要求学生有如下医疗保险：

Plans must provide coverage for pre-existing conditions

Plans must provide coverage for both in-patient and out-patient medical care in the area, including routine office visits and diagnostic testing.
Emergency only care is not sufficient.


Plans must provide coverage for both in-patient and out-patient mental health care in the area.
Emergency only care is not sufficient.

Plans must offer a lifetime maximum benefit of at least $500,000 in coverage.

如不满足条件就必须买学校的医疗保险。宾大保险约2500多美元。所以请家长们注意自己家的医疗保险范围。免得付双份。

注意各校要求不同。

另外有的家长牙保险在孩子满19岁时就不再给孩子保了。
