Please help? Any parents have experience on Acne for teen girls?

Please give any help or tips. My daughter is only 11 years old but she starts to have acne on her forehead. I have taken her to see the demotologist for couple of times, tried some medications, such Differin, Duac. But seems it hard to cure but only can control. I also have concerns of the side effect of use these medication for long period of time. The Dr. also recommend to use oral antibiotics but I am afraid the side effect too. Does anyone have any experience? Please share with me for any advice and tips. Thanks in advance.
