25 minutes. 1Foot = 16 inch! :)

Every 2 minutes he climbs 1 foot and falls back 6 inch. That is 10 inch (1 F=16 in !). Now 8 feet=8X16=128 inch, so it would take him 24 minutes to get to the first 120 inch, the last 8 inch takes 1 miute.
