Since my son is later birthday, even though he is eligible to go to our neighborhood school's K, we have set our mind to repeat him in K in two different school. One is this current school's K, the other one is our neighborhood K.
Just recently, I find out that to let him to go to different pre-school might be a better choice.
His pre-school teachers thinks he is a little bit on the young side, but he is ready for K(go to their K). But we talked to our public school K teacher and pediatrician, they think if he is too young, his attention span is short, he can not do well in K. He will feel being forced to sit down to learn and write. They all suggest to let him to continue to do whever is age-appropriated, let him to mature in one more year.
From the forum, I learn that Asian boys are in disadvantage than girls. So I don't want to rush him too earlier.
