I can understand it is difficult to take in 3 kids,

the responsibilities and the disturbance of daily life. We are not psychologically well prepared as those forster families.

Still, I feel a little sad for those "good friends" to let an unknown American family to take in the kids. (Of course, in this case, the kids need to stay in the same city with the mom. Maybe the guy does not have really close friends in that city.)

Lesson learned, assign a guardian to your kids while alive.
