Study or not to study for PH.D at this age

In my opinion, to finish a PH.D is really time-consuming and difficult. Unless you really enjoy the study and have the potential to be a cutting-edge researcher, the pay difference is not enough to recover the chance to spend time with kid. The sense of achievement to be a PH.D is not as huge as raising a good kid.
