You are crazy. What is creativity? When the kid submerges himself in paper plane making, that is creativity. Now go to the floor to play with him and let him teach you a few thing about airplanes. Do you that there are many forms of airplanes? How to make a good paper plane that truely repesent the type supposed to be? How to handle the details about each section, wings, tail, fuselage --this is a 大学问。
Often we as parents are really the ones who need creativity and to understand creativity, and to be able to see the spontaneous creativities in the childish plays of kids. From many posts here I sensed that many of us in our own childhood had been deprived of sufficient free play time and as a result do not have much spontaneous interest in anything apart from material things( big house, etc.) Don't be angry with me but remember this: our influence upon our offsprings is not only from what we furnish them materially, but also from what we appear in their eyes. Dull parent usually raise dull kids.
