If you do not have paid employee, neither S-corp nor LLC need to

pay payroll tax. If you have paid employee, both need to pay payroll taxes. S-corp does not pay more. It is true that S-corp does more paper. My LLC and S-corp both fill Form 1120S by choice.(normally LLCs fill Form 1065)
