课外活动学什么才对上大学有帮助？

有个华裔同事2个孩子最近都上了顶尖学校。闲谈时说起课外活动， 她说： 要做其他华人孩子不做的事，才对升学有帮助。学校录取都是在华人孩子里分配那几个华人录取名额。

如果没有天分/热爱，什么钢琴小提琴网球画画就不要考虑了。
