请懂电的地主指教

想在 Kitchen 的 Celing 上 再加装一个 Recess Light， 我的电工知识是有限的， 每次做电时， 会把Electric Panel 的闸关了， 再用 Voltage Meter 和 电笔 测试。

但是， 我在把厨房的电闸关了后， 测已存在的　Recess　Light　的　Electric　Box，　用Voltage Meter 测， 显示没电， 但用电笔测， 在叫， 显示有电。

我把和厨房相连的FamilyROOM的电闸关了后，　Voltage　Meter　和　电笔　才都显示没电。

我的有限电工知识告诉我，之所以有分开的电闸，　就是电路是分开独立的，　难道　２个电闸的　Hot　线路　可以分享？如果不是，　为啥　Voltage　Meter显示没电，　但电笔显示有电？
