收留了一朋友的孩子，高中，二月来的，六月回去过暑假，去领事馆renew visa，结果护照被扣，说是她并没有去学校报到，不承认她呈交的成绩单，孩子一头雾水，只是被告知要去找学校，学校也是一头雾水，最终我查出了可能是哪里出了问题，领事馆致电得以证实:原来学校那个签发Ｉ-20表的人没有在学生报到后给她到SEVIS Database注册！她说她-不-知-道-要这样做。导致学生的Ｆ-1身份失效！！孩子定了七月中旬的机票要返回的，结果。。。。。重新启动身份听说要好几个月。父母在家急得发跳，机票作废不说，九月能不能来还成问题！悲催啊！我也不得安生。家有小留的，特别是自己去联系学校的，吸取教训啊！
