It does not make any sense to be involved in two bands

When we talk about extra-curricular activities, we must puts the quality before the quantity.

I have a 15-year old in 9th grade. He is already in the highest-level orchestra in his school. I make my best efforts to support him, but I will not help him if you join any bands.

You man, live using your brain, not your emotion. Think again: What is the point to be involved in so many jazz bands? You need to think about how your parents feel. Don't be selfish. It seems you feel guilty. At least, you fell upset. So I believe you will make a reasonable decision.
