BTW, I do not have problem with any of those naming systems. I do have problem with the inflexibility of the teacher. Most of the teachers from Asian were brought up singing Do-Re-Mi. And most of them have adapted the ABC system, which is dominant in the States. If you kid adapts to her system, sooner or later he has to come back to ABC, unless he sticks with this teacher forever. In addition, Malaysia is not famous for its piano playing. Forgive me for the generalization.
