Do you work outside the home?

My wife does not. In a sense, she is getting paid very well. Other than my beer and golf expenses, she gets every penny I made.

In the state we live, the medium household income is about $40000. My salary is more than twice of that. It will take a over $200K salary in San Francisco to enjoy the same living standard.

In other words, we are by no means poor.
