My boy had joint birthday party

My boy had joint birthday parties with a girl from his class, 6 days apart, for their 3rd and 4th birthday parties. It was great! Parents liked it. They didn't want to have to go to two parties on two weekends, or have to choose whose to go to. On the invitations (half girl's half boy's), we wrote both kids names. We decorated half of the party room the girl's theme, and half the boy's theme. Most parents brought two gifts. Some who are only friends to one kid brought only one. We shared cost half and half. Everyone had a great time.
