回复：Our kid's case

We know a boy with similar situation having both Ph.d parents. He is very smart. When he was first grade and was recommended to skip two grades. Later he skipped only one grade. Now he is 8th grade. I talked with his mom and she regret that decision for the following reason: 1) Phisically Chinese boy are smaller compared with other race. He is in great disadvantage in sports and all athelic activities. 2) Because he is younger, he is hard to get a leadership position in school student group. These two factors are very important in getting into good college. Academically, that boy is still doing excellent.
