Your hu*****and is wrong, he should not turn on the TV after you said NO.

On the other hand,
1) I did not let my son watch TV at all
2) If my son does not eat his vegetable (he eats rice/meat well), I just tell him no snack for the night. (I do use candy to "seduce" him to do things that he does not like doing :-(()
