If you want a bigger mess and more trouble for your daughter, you can keep doing what you have done. Otherwise shutting up is the best strategy. Teachers and schools all stand together, don't try to mess up with individual teacher, esp. in public school. A lot of politics is not much different from high schools in China. The difference is that we(parents) are minorities with bad accents.
Another difference is majorities of American high school teachers are illiterate in Math. Don't ever dream to find your daughter a better math teacher by switching class. A lot of parents here think their high school kids are properly educated in math didn't look their kids' homework or themselves are quite bad at math. Any above average 7 or 8th grader in China has better math knowledge than 99% of Americans. So if you are serious about math, you teach kids yourself. Otherwise, you have to live with the truth that your daughter will never be good at math or may hate math.
