summer internship

女儿现在junior. 以后想去读economics or business. 但是她没有什么business or economics signals of interest on her resume. She wanted to go to a structured summer internship program. 都是她自己在琢磨。想去一个program TEC (ladder internship, TEC, ...), cost $875, we agreed. The deadline was 4/30. 2 days ago she checked and found out they moved deadline to 4/6, so she missed it.

She was disappointed.

想问一下， 这种program 有用吗？我们双职工，很内疚没有帮她。
