that is true,I agree with you on that.

It is a very admirable thing to do so. However, I don't see anything wrong that she feels incapable of taking in hb's niece and take care her like a mom in a long term. Besides, she is not refusing to look after her, just wants her to live on her own, what is wrong with that?
