3 = Solid national/regional reputation

The results, presented in Figure 6, reveal a U-shaped pattern. Juniors from tier-2 and
tier-3 universities experienced the sharpest relative declines in employment. Those from
tier-1 (elite) and tier-4 schools also saw reductions, but of smaller magnitude. By contrast,
juniors from tier-5 (lower-prestige) institutions experienced only a modest decline,
statistically indistinguishable from zero.
