Listen to "Passerby", she knows ;-))

I highly recommend you read "The Piano Book", mentioned again and again in Passerby's post, before you made decision. I read the "The Piano Book" carefully before I got my upright. I did not buy a "house name" piano. I bought a less known brand, which is of very high quality comparing to "house name" ones in the same price range.

(I did not do much research on grand piano. Just from impression, Boston is better than Kawai. Thanks Passerby to point the difference. Sorry for misleading you.)
