Just for fun, 我真不知道如何看待 33分在Cornel得 C 的例子了。

Do not get me wrong, I respect Cornell. 

但是，这个Cornel 30 分得C的例子，真是不懂怎么interpret 了？

总共768 学生。 Raw scores: 

90-100: 18  ~ 2.3%

80-90:   65  ~  8.5%

70-80:  141 ~ 18.3%

60-70:   134 ~  17.4%

< 60:     310~   40.4% 

------- How to interpret? --------- Here is my version ----

要么：（1） Cornell 教授很tough, 大多数学生都考不及格 （raw score before curving). 可是，如果真的tough, 那不能最后Curve 成大多数人都过了这门课，最后， only 45 /768 人 failed the class, ~~ 5.9% of class 得了D &F，or F= 6/768 ~~ ONLY 0.8% Failed 对吧？ 真正raw score < 60 的， 有310/728 = 40.4% F vs 0.8% F after curving??  

Or， 要么： 

(2) 大多数学生都没达到这个 Cornell Prof. 的要求， （say > 60/100 raw score)

Or,  要么，

（3） This Prof. 不会设计考题，使得 考题失去了出题设计的初衷。
