Freshman Merit-Based Scholarships不需要申请？

熊娃好几个学校都有说明：Admitted students are automatically considered for a merit-based scholarship based on a full review of their comprehensive high school academic performance 

那就啥事也不用做， 等着发钱？啥时候知道有没有scholarship? 除了州大录取上说有奖学金， 其他学校都没提啊。
