It never came to my mind

to talk to her parents. I was thinking the girl might under some stress because her dad took a new job and was travelling from Monday to Thursday every week. I just thought she wanted some attention but didn't know how to get it. My daughter didn't seem to be bother by it very much either so I didn't make it into a big deal. I doubt how much the girl meant what she said because she invited my daughter to her birthday party earlier this year and there was another chinese girl there as well.
