Should AsAms Apologize?

 

      This year, Harvard admitted 29.9% Asians into its "class of 2026", while AsAms are only roughly 7% of the nation's population. Should we apologizefor hoarding all those classroom seats of one of our nation's best colleges?

 

      Let's not answer that question for now. Let's learn some facts first.

 

 

Should blacks Apologize? 

 

      In 2021*, in the NBA, 73.2% of the players are black, and 0.4% are Asian. In the NFL 56 % of the players are black. The % of black population that year is 12.1%. Should blacks apologize for hoarding all those prestigious and extremely high-paying jobs? Should there be an affirmative action for AsAms in the NBA and the NFL? No! Merit is what counts.

 

Should whites Apologize?     

 

      In 2022*, 75% of our Congressional Delegates (Senators plus Congress-persons) are white, and 78.1% of the federal judges are white, more than 80%of state legislators are white, while whites are 59% of our population. Should whites apologize for occupying such a disproportional fraction of our nation's most powerful political positions?
