since my work is not going well today, and I am pissed and depressed :)

As I have said before, you are one of those cool headed ones...I didn't see that you've said anything here rebutting my point...

You fall in love at 16...and that's the key...you have the time and luxury to go through the pain, cool down, wake up, and choose. Therefore, from another point of view, you are lucky...there are tons of poeple out there falling in love at 26, 36, or 46...give them 6 years to cool down and wake up...another two years to pick up pieces...how many of them have the same potential and opportunity to start all over again as someone who starts over at 22!

You are lucky and smart and knows what you want...good for you. But as I've said in my previous post, others who are not as luck as cool headed are not necessary naive. Again, to me, it's simply personality difference...if you are capable of falling in love at 16 and luck enough to fall in love at 16, then, you can fall in love AND pick and choose...that's not because you are smarter and more maturer than others, that only means you are lucky..

Guess what, if you are swept off you feet at 46 by a wrong guy, I bet...you won't have much chance to pick and choose...

Your example means something..but... you are just you..and remember this is a BIG BIG world...
