Only because someone is in天才班, doesn't mean s/he is

normal. Many famous and talented were autistic. Albert Einstein, Da Vinci, Thomas Jefferson are all believed to be autistic. Some also suspect that Newton is autistic.
If the 3 kids are autistic as your son suggested, then the question is why you son was grouped with them. I would ask the teacher if I were you.
