it's time for her to sleep on
her own now.
My daughter has been sleeping in her own room since she was 5 months old. She's nine now and she's quite independent, has never had any problem going to bed by herself.
I am not sure about the others, but my hu*****and and I have an active sex life and we don't want to be distrubed at night. Spontaneous lovemaking when a baby in the bed isn't an option for us at all.
Maybe you can explain to your hu*****and that bed-sharing with your child is not a long term solution, once your child has begun this habit, it would be rather hard to break. There are a lot of studies have shown that more than half of the children who sleep with their parents resist going to bed and awaken several times during the night. Most of all, explain to your hu*****and that you two need to spend quality time together at night as a loving couple, without a "third party" sleeping between you two.
Hope this helps. :)
