Nurture (hard-working) premed kids with a high sGPA and a stellar prehealth committee letter.  Kids take full-time to get biomedical research in medical schools or NIH and clinical/volunteering hours in hospitals at summers/winter break (and gap year(s)). Almost 2/3 admitted medical students took 1-3 gap years in these days.
