If the children cannot get into Harker's honor class, they will won't be the top students in the top public school. If they are just average students in the top public school, they can't get into those really top private colleges. If you choose to attend public school, maybe you can save the money for retirement.

In Harker, at least the school cares more about the academic achievement of their average students when compared with public school.

Of course if the child is below average in Harker, nobody cares. Still, you can save the money for retirement.
