Should I be proud of myself?

For whatever reason, this evening, my son asked me "dad, you never did tell me where to go to college, did you?".  Actually, it has truth to it, I never did tell him where to apply, but I was very receptive to whatever he wants to apply. My only taking point  is for him  to be involved in whatever school he wants to go, and take advantages of the resources, and study something that he finds interesting beyond his major. 

He will be a sophomore next semester, majoring in engineering, and with a interest  in music and economics. He sure spends lots of time in video games.
